肥胖致喘、膝痛 減重術後找回健康
（優活健康網記者林奐妤／綜合報導）28歲的夢夢（化名）身高150公分，體重卻已破150公斤大關。有先天性心臟病的她不但平時容易喘，走路更喘得厲害，且嘴唇發紫、雙膝疼痛。家人擔心她再胖下去會出人命，於是帶到減重門診就醫。夢夢因為體態求職屢遭拒絕，5、6年待在家沒工作，心情不好就以吃發洩，體重從失業後到過年前已胖了60幾公斤。雖然想減重過正常人的生活，但就是無法控制。
病態性肥胖 減重手術改善自信與健康
夢夢的病態性肥胖在經過各項檢查及諮商後，進行達文西微創減重手術及術後減重計畫，術後短短2個月已減掉28公斤。夢夢臉上漸漸有了笑容，走路時腳已經沒那麼容易痛，希望能再減到90公斤以下，找到工作，減輕家裡經濟負擔。
彰濱秀傳紀念醫院減重中心主任林建華說明，病態性肥胖病人的人際關係處處受挫，更嚴重的是健康狀態每況愈下，施行減重手術後找回自信和健康的例子很多。許多病態性肥胖的病人其實都曾嘗試各種的減重方法，但效果不彰，後來乾脆放任胖下去，這對身體健康是很大的傷害，雖也有考慮作減重手術，卻害怕可能的副作用。
達文西手術細小精密 降低併發症發生率
外科手術從最早的傳統剖腹開腹，進步到微創或腹腔鏡手術，至現在的達文西手術系統，協助醫師讓較複雜的手術更能妥善處置，應用在減重手術上，術後恢復效果良好，術後2天即可順利出院。達文西影像系統相較腹腔鏡，解析度及視野角度更具優勢，在腹腔內進行縫合時，比腹腔鏡器械更細小精密，縫合時減少出血機會，大幅降低術後併發症機率。
林建華主任強調，如果是肥胖造成的代謝性症候群（糖尿病、高血壓、高血脂等），減重手術能有效幫忙減輕肥胖造成的問題，甚至解除。然而，如何讓身材變好及維持，手術都只是幫忙，主要還是少吃多動，這樣才能健康久久。
